It’s been a while since I wrote a blogpost.
A lot has happened in the meantime: we qualified for the Dutch League Championship, and we also went to Vic, Spain.
We won our first league meet, and did well in the second one. Too bad this quality of play didn’t transfer to the Dutch League Championship. We had repeated problems with our robot, which made us lose a lot of matches. Luckily, we were able to get back on track, and we were chosen for an alliance for the semi-finals. Even though we didn’t win any prizes, we really enjoyed the day and we learned a lot.
We also had a rough time in Spain. Out of the six matches we played, we only won one of them. We yet again managed to regroup, and we were yet again selected for an alliance in the semi-finals. They were extremely close, but we unfortunately lost. We cheered for another team from out school in the finals, and they won! We mainly really enjoyed our time there.
We want to thank all the sponsors. Thank you to all the teams that made this season as enjoyable as it was. The helping parents, the watching fans and everyone who helped our team. We are already preparing for our next seasob! We hope that we can rely on your support once again next year!
About Dylan
member from 2017 to 2020
Hello, I am Dylan. I'm 17 years old, and comin year will be my fourth and probably last year if FTC.
My main role in the team is managing PR, but I also try to help with the robot when I can. Since a big part of the team is leaving next season, I hope we can get the team at a level where they can function without us.
I'm also responsible for the humor in the team.
